The Tended Garden Collection was born from a stroll through the sculpted gardens of a local flower enthusiast. Her private gardens are exquisite. Upon returning from a summer visit, I was inspired to paint roses and other flowers. These combined to make the patterns Roses + Blooms and Little Roses.
Roses + Blooms is available as a brightly colored watercolor pattern and a minimal reduced palette allover pattern. It is both extravagant and subtle depending on the chosen version. Little Roses is a gorgeous tossed watercolor rosebud pattern, that is so versatile it will go anywhere.
The rest of the collection developed quickly upon the idea of a picnic in the garden. In the collection is found Gingham Check Twill in shades of two colors or a blending of four colors. There is Floating Square that represents the modern take on a traditional gingham and pulls in a vintage Scandinavian vibe.
Rounding out the collection is Painted Dot, an all-over random dot pattern with endless uses, and Tiny Flower, a lovely ogee wave of small flowers on a solid color background.
