Return policy
Effective date: October 27, 2025
We hope you love your purchase from Ink + Sun. Because many of our products are handmade or created in limited runs, we ask that you review the policy below before making a return request.
1. Return Window
You may request a return or exchange within 30 days of the order date. To qualify, items must be unused, undamaged, and in their original packaging.
2. How to Start a Return
To begin a return, please email janet@inkandsun.com with your order number and reason for return. We’ll respond with instructions and a return address. Unauthorized returns may not be accepted.
3. Shipping Costs
If an item arrives damaged or incorrect, we will cover return shipping. If you change your mind or the item does not meet your personal expectations, you will be responsible for return shipping costs.
4. Refunds
Once we receive and inspect your returned item, refunds are issued to your original payment method within 7 business days. Shipping fees are non-refundable unless the return is due to our error.
5. Exchanges
To exchange an item for a different design or colorway, please indicate your preference when requesting a return. Because our items are small-batch, exchanges depend on availability and are at the sole discretion of Ink + Sun.
6. Final Sale Items
The following cannot be returned unless defective or damaged upon arrival:
Custom or personalized items
Limited-edition or handmade pieces with natural variations
Digital downloads or educational materials
Handmade products may include small variations in color, alignment, or texture that are part of their character. These are not considered defects.
7. Damaged Items
If your order arrives damaged, email janet@inkandsun.com within 7 days of delivery with photos of the damaged item and packaging. We’ll arrange a replacement, store credit, or refund.
