I have been painting regularly for the entirety of the Covid outbreak. Many of the paintings are now my favorite works I’ve done. I have gotten great response on social media and a few DM’s from friends about buying the artwork. So why not put it out for sale? Normally I create illustrations and patterns for companies to use on their products. With a shop, I will decide what the products will be. Starting out with art prints just makes sense.
I have a great printer, the Canon Pixma 6820. It produces an excellent print. But to ensure the highest quality and longevity of the print, I’ve decide to have archival-quality gicleè prints made by a printer. Today I received a sample of the first print posted to my shop. It is called Glass Vase #1: Peace. The name refers to the feeling I had way back in March. I was feeling so much anxiety but opened myself up to painting as a way to calm my nerves. This is what came out of that first session along with a feeling that everything would be okay long as I stayed open to being ok.
In this post, I will show you how the new prints will be packed to arrive at your door in perfect condition to frame and hang.
The print will come in a cellophane envelope within a sandwich of heavy cardboard. Very secure. I am offering two sizes 8x10 and 11x14. The dimensions are accurate and will work in any frame or mat opening of that size.
The paper is a heavy textural watercolor paper that looks exactly like the paper I paint on. I now have 12 images offered as prints in my shop. Have a look using the link below.
